2 days husky tour

Are you an adventurous type? Then you should try this dog sledding experience over two days, with an overnight in a tent/lavvo (Scandinavian tipi) at the kennels.

The trip will take place in the beautiful wilderness of Kopperå traveling through incredible mountain and forest landscapes, home to lynx, bear, elk, reindeer and the occasional wolverine. You’ll learn how to ride sled and how to prepare and look after your husky team. Two persons share a dog team of 4-6 dogs and change to be a passenger or driver of the team. You will be activly involved in everything from preparing your dogteam, to feed and care for the dogs afterwards.

At night you’ll be kept warm by reindeer skins and a winter sleeping bag, hearing only the night chorus of the huskies and, if you are lucky, seeing an unforgettable view of the northern lights.

Duration: 2 days, 1 night. 10 am day 1 – 1 pm day 2.
