Activity Description
For those who want a real adventure, we offer multi-day dog sledding tours. Working together with your dog team, you'll sled through the forests and mountain plateaus, stopping for lunch around a fire, before spending the night in a tent or cabin. We offer 2 day tours 10 am 1st day, to 1pm next day. Lunch, dinner, breakfast and coffee break is included. This is a real, hands-on dog sledding experience. After instruction from the guide, you will prepare your team, putting on their harnesses and attaching them to the sled. We'll spend the day travelling by dog sled through the forest and mountains. After taking care of our dog team, we'll have a typical Norwegian dinner and spend the night in a tent or a cabin. Dog sledding is a fun but also physically demanding activity that requires balance, strength and perseverance. If you have a positive attitude, an average fitness level, and are prepared for cold weather conditions, then you have what it takes! For more information on what to bring and wear, see our FAQs.
